Bianca Andreescu returns to the Stuttgart Open

The young Canadian has been given a wildcard and will appear at the Stuttgart Open which begins on April 16 in Germany.

In her nascent career so far, the 21-year-old Canadian hasn’t spent a full season without an injury or problem forcing her to withdraw from the tournaments. The 2019 US Open champion missed the Miami Open this year after being forced to retire in the middle of the final against Ash Party in 2021.

After that, she also withdrew from the Madrid Open after testing positive for Covid-19. Aiming to compete in the French Open, Andreescu returned to playing in Strasbourg in France. However, he withdrew from the tournament after two opening rounds as a precaution due to abdominal pain. Her run at Roland Garros ended in the first round. She lost to Tamara Zidansek in a thriller in three sets.

Now that she’s back on tour, her fans are hoping to watch her get back into top shape and fitness.
