Arkansas football team launches Fayetteville NIL Club

The college football landscape has changed quite a bit in recent years. Players are now able to capitalize on their name, image, and likeness (NIL) as a large part of this change. Many student-athletes have embraced the change and are looking to improve their situation. Members of the Arkansas soccer team took to Twitter Tuesday morning to announce the launch of the Fayetteville Neal Club, hoping to give fans unique access to the players.

Several members of the Razorback football team posted the same statement on Twitter to announce the club’s launch and provide insight into what they hope to achieve. Here is the full statement:

“Dear Razorback family, the age of NIL has come. The name, image, and similarity have made national headlines on how they impact the transfer portal and recruitment. As players dedicated to our team and winning a national championship, we don’t care about noise. We believe there is a better way for us to use NIL to advance our program and support our mission. In winning Arkansas football is a team.

“With this in mind, we have come together to launch the Fayetteville Nail Club. The Fayetteville Nail Club is a membership based community that allows fans to reach players like never before. We will have an online community where fans can chat with us and get access to exclusive content Behind the scenes of all the players on the team.

“The club’s revenue will support every member of the team that participates. Including everyone will allow us to reach our fullest potential both on and off the field.

“Starting in July 2022, we will be selling a limited number of Fayetteville NIL Club Passes. These digital passes will be your ticket to the online community and in-person player events we host throughout the season. Be behind the team and please join the waiting list at FayettevilleNILClub.com. We are excited For the future of NIL and we can’t wait to build a great community and experience for our fans. Go pigs!”

More details about the club and its events are likely to be announced soon as the season approaches. The Razorbacks are scheduled to begin their 2022 season on September 3 against the Cincinnati Bearcats in Fayetteville (Ark.). Kick-off inside the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m. (CDT) on ESPN.
