Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson He may have played his last game in the Starbucks capital of the world, leaving bettors everywhere wondering where his next stop in NFL it will be.
After a disappointing season that saw the Seahawks lose eight of their first 11 games, finish last in the competitive NFC West and fail to make the playoffs, speculation abounded that Wilson was ready to move on.
He reportedly agreed to waive the no-trade clause in December and allegedly is exploring his options.
As we’ve seen time and time again, anything can happen in the NFL. So from a gambling perspective, it is exciting to dive into the possible scenarios and move on with the game. Which is why we asked FOX Bet sports trader Dylan Brosman about the hypothetical odds of what Wilson’s next move might be.
Odds on Russell Wilson’s next team:
Seattle Seahawks: -120 ($10 bet to win a total of $18.33)
Denver Broncos +400 ($10 bet to win $50 total)
Washington Leaders +500 ($10 bet to win a total of $60)
Pittsburgh Steelers +600 ($10 bet to win $70 total)
New Orleans Saints +800 ($10 bet to win a total of $90)
Miami Dolphins +900 ($10 bet to win $100 total)
Carolina Panthers +900 ($10 bet to win $100 total)
Atlanta Falcons +1400 ($10 to win $150 total)
New York Jets +1900 ($10 bet to win $200 total)
– The Broncos are a strong team looking for a midfielder since their Super Bowl 50 win. If Ross Do Leaving, will he be the savior that John Elway & Company so desperately wanted? If Wilson were to leave Seattle, Denver would have preferred to land him.
– With veteran 18-year-old Ben Roethlisberger now retired, Pittsburgh could certainly use someone with Wilson’s skill set, especially with the team designed to win now. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he would use all available means to get a key midfielder. Could that mean trading for a caller signal in Seattle?
One team not on this list of possibilities is the Tom Brady-less Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Colin Cord of The Herd thinks it’s possible, but not likely, that Tampa Bay could be one of the teams that could land Wilson.
