For the first time in a year, Serena Williams is participating in a singles match.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion was forced to retire at Wimbledon last year after tore a hamstring in her opening match.

Now, she’s back on the grass at SW19. She’ll have some youth competition this time around, facing France’s Harmony Tan. Tan, the right-hander, enters Tuesday’s 115th ranked game in the world.

The 24-year-old has never faced a player of Williams’ caliber in her short career, and will play a major tie match at Wimbledon for the first time.

However, the eyes of the tennis world will be focused on Williams as she looks to find the magic on this Wimbledon lawn.
