WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue Basketball Tournament has been announced for March 5 at home against state rival Indiana. The game will launch at the Mackey Arena starting at 2 PM ET, and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
The rematch with the Hoosiers marks the team’s final home game and the conclusion of the regular season. It is scheduled to follow road games against Michigan State and Wisconsin.
The last time the two teams met, Purdue lost to Indiana 68-65 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. A road loss again on January 20 interrupted a nine-game winning streak against the Hoosiers.
With three games remaining in the regular season, Boilermakers top the Big Ten standings with a 24-4 aggregate record that includes a 13-4 conference mark.
Purdue has won six straight games against Indiana at West Lafayette. The last time Indiana had a win at the Mackey Arena dates back to January 30, 2013. Since then, Boilermakers have lost only two games against the Hoosiers, both in Bloomington.
